Inter-UK Financial Services in default

Kent-based financial advisory firm, Inter-UK Financial Services, was declared in default by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) on 8 October 2024.

The firm offered pension transfer advice, including facilitating the transfer of pensions to the Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) provider Intelligent Money. Additionally, they provided general investment advice, which may have included recommendations to invest through SVS Securities — a firm previously sanctioned by the FCA for promoting high-risk bonds to retail investors.

As of 13 February 2025, the firm is no longer authorised to provide regulated activities and products. Although it had been authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) since 2001, it is now undergoing an insolvency process.

Inter-UK Financial Services has an appointed representative, IUK Global, and has previously traded under several different names:

  • InterProtect
  • Capital Care Wealth Management
  • Casa Capital

The Financial Ombudsman Scheme has received 11 complaints against the firm, with one complaint upheld to date. If you were advised by Inter-UK Financial Services to switch your pension to a SIPP or to invest in unsuitable high-risk products and have suffered financial losses as a result, CP Financial Claims can assist you with a compensation claim to the FSCS.
