Clarion Invest no longer authorised by the FCA
Clarion Invest is a trading name of Clarion Introducers Limited, a company registered in England & Wales and incorporated on 19 December 2016.
Clarion was regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) from 2019 until 2023, when it lost its permissions. As a result, the firm is no longer registered with the FCA as an Appointed Representative of an authorised firm and should no longer carry out regulated activities.
Previously, Clarion Invest had been an ‘Appointed Representative’ – operating under the FCA permissions of a ‘Principal’ firm, Ellis David Limited, from 14 March 2019 until 12 January 2023. Ellis David Limited are an insurance broker based in London offering advice on business and personal insurances. Ellis David, incorporated in 2005, has been authorised and regulated by the FCA since 1 June 2006.
Despite losing its FCA permissions, Clarion Invest continues to operate as an unregulated firm selling/introducing fixed-return products to investors, such as Bonds, Loan Notes and Debentures via its website.
